One of the hardest parts of being a new vegan (or even an old seasoned vegan) is trying to keep up with all the new products out there. I must have spent over $50 looking for the "right" vegan cheese my first year being a vegan and I have over 50 vegan/vegetarian cookbooks in my arsenal but not all the recipes are the greatest. I’m the first born so I’m used to being a Guinea Pig and now I’m your Vegan Guinea Pig. So here are my recommendations and critiques. Let me know what you think!

Tom’s of Maine Long-Lasting Wicked Fresh Toothpaste

A few months ago the fine folks over at Tom’s of Maine sent me their New Long-Lasting Wicked Fresh Toothpaste to try out. I’m a big Tom’s of Maine fan but not always open to trying new products once I’ve found something I like. Tom of Maine Whole Care toothpaste and gel have been my personal favorites for some time now so I finished up my tube of Whole Care and finally switched to the New Long-Lasting Wicked Fresh Toothpaste last month. This stuff truly lives up to its name and keeps your breath fresh, without being overly minty all day and without giving you that awful toothpaste aftertaste that prevents you from taking a swig of juice after you brush your teeth. But enough about how great I think this stuff is, here’s an opportunity to try it for yourself!

  25. Ugh. Tom's of Maine is owned by Colgate-Palmolive.

  26. Hi

I just found out that in deed Tom's is now owned by Palmolive... pretty deceptive I would say... Not only are they no longer a small company from Maine but they also changed the ingredients... I loved their propolis and myrrh
    w/o fluoride...
